Amanda Dziedzic is a Melbourne based glass artist and co-founder of Hothaus Glass Studio. Amanda loves to make and over the years has found working with glass to be the most rewarding material. During her artistic practice she has completed a two year traineeship at JamFactory in Adelaide, a research residency in Tokyo, Japan, undertaken studio placement in the UK, participated at Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle and most recently completed a residency at Northlands Glass in Scotland.
The kind of works Amanda loves to create are most often those that make you smile. While technically challenging they are universal in their appeal. While she finds it hard to describe her design aesthetic, she takes a lot of inspiration from Japanese aesthetics and colour, these two design influences reflected in her signature Yummeyuri collection.
